  1. LIsa, Another good podcast today. It really shows your solid psychological grasp of what is going on in your head — something I see as a strength. Good for you. At the same time, I noticed that listening to it left me exhausted as it felt like there was too much internal thinking. Why? Because this is the way I thought for years — lots of mental gymnastics to keep myself focused and on track. I am a bit better about it now — perhaps it is because I am 72. However, I think I am just more flexible and accepting of my world and what I can influence, and I now bake in unexpected scenarios into my schedule that can get in the way of my immediate desires. It is just part of life.

In any event, I like how you present, your enthusiasm, and your commitment to helping others. Please keep at it. I hope to hear more! Jim

Hi Jim, Thanks for listening and for sharing your experience. So many of us live from our heads. I love that you’ve found more flexible ways of operating in the world. That’s one of the benfits of aging–as we accumulate experiences, we become wiser. :)
